Modern handheld flashlight.

Armored Farmer - I have bought, modified, and built flashlights for 25 years. Here's my suggestion...

The hardest criteria you listed was the 100+ yards requirement. That's a long ways away to light up something with a hand-held, portable light.

I don't think you really want - at least I don't like - adjustable beams. They usually detract from the quality of the light output.

A power port to charge other electronics is something I thought would be cool, but I've never used it. I've always had other means of charging them (battery packs, etc).

If you don't mind buying something not made in the US. THIS would be a great light for you.

It has a few bells and whistles, but you don't have to use them, unless you want to.

You would have to supply a phone charger and a USB-C cable.

Get the 5000-5500K version. Your eyes will perceive it as a little bit brighter.

And if you don't like it, I'll buy it from you. 😉

Mine did. Some bastard stole it off a machine and now I have the rechargeable one. It seemed like half the time my other one was needed the battery was dead. I'm liking the rechargeable one.

Fits in my Leatherman pouch too

As far as 100 yards my olight odin and warrior are better than ANY spotlight we had from the 2000-2015 era. Those generator sized comical looking lights we used to have, with an industrial battery that would have been at home in a D8, nor the 12v plug in whistler, Stanley and streamlight.... not as good as a handheld odin you can fit in your pocket.

And the javelot turbo is bigger but nowhere near the old spotlight size. Not even half a big as the old 2d mag light that used to be the standard. (I also had a 6d... what an embarrassing light by today's standards) . It's too focused at 100-300 IMO and I prefer the odin for that BUT past 300 yards it turns a small circle into daylight. 1000 yards with a scope or binoculars you can see as of its daylight.

They both get plenty warm at full output but they have lower output modes too
