Monterey Swiss Rifle Club

I've heard they do get some sort of sponsorship or funding by the Swiss embassay.

The Swiss, as you probably know, have a long-standing tradition of maintaining proficiency with a rifle. This club was formed many years ago by some Swiss immigrants for that purpose. Today, to be a full (voting) member of the club, you must be of Swiss ancestry.

I *think* there actually are organized club shoots that use K31 rifles.

I am interested because they have a long range, and I love shooting rifles. (Americans are big rifle-shooters, too.) I would like to know how many members there are, the general club atmosphere, etc.

As an asociate member (can't be a member without Swiss heritage) I can tell you it's $100 of the best spent dollars a year if you live close by. Many events, ranges out to 600yards, when nobody is there you can shoot from your slung carbine and transition to holstered pistol
