Well I just purchased a Mossberg 151k for $275. The sling, case and ammo are included in the purchase. It reminds me of my Browning SA-22 and was cheap enough to purchase on an impulse. I can't wait to give a range report when I pick it up Saturday. -4088123717252401258.jpg

Some of the older Mossbergs had interesting features not found on other makes.

The finger groves on your pistol grip and the fold down fore end on some models come to mind.

Good luck with your new gun!

I know this is an older thread but I absolutely love my 151k. First and favourite rifle I have ever owned in forty years of collecting. Lost my first in a house fire twenty years back but it has been replaced. My question to any other owner is have you found any information on how to lighten up the trigger?? I know I’ll never get it close to the couple hundred grams on my old Annie target Smallbore but where it’s at now makes me thing I need to hit the weight room for finger curls.

I do like the features of the older Mossbergs. I have nine, including a 151k, not nearly as nice as yours. Took me forever to find a small broken part. Enjoy. I certainly enjoy mine.
