Mossberg 500 Trigger Detail Strip and Assembly

Does anyone have a link to, or can anyone provide, detailed instructions on the disassembly and reassembly of the Mossberg 500 trigger group. I plan on doing some stoning and polishing of the contact surfaces to improve the trigger pull on my deer/slug-only 500 and was looking for some guidance with the trigger group.

I do have experience in different trigger groups as well as have done a couple of my own trigger jobs (encore/model 700) in the past but was hoping to find some detailed assembly/disassembly info for the trigger group.

I, too have wanted to shine up the trigger on my Mavy. 88. Is the trigger group on the 88s and the 500s the same? Mine is a 12-ga. field-model. Thanks.

Help please

Hello there, I am attempting to help a friend reassemble the trigger assembly for his mossberg 590. He was installing a new stock or grip or somesuch and apparently the bolt was too long and broke his safety. Long story short he has aquired the part he needs but somehow disassembled or had the trigger assembly 'pop apart' on him. I am attempting to help him reassemble it but being its a new shotgun, there are no wear marks from the springs on the interior of the assembly, and i can not determine how to reassemble it. Mainly where the springs are hooked on to or resting against. They should seriously make reassembling this trigger assembly without a guide part of some sort of cognitive test. I'm usually good at stuff like this and so is my friend, but were completley stumped. :/

The SEAR & SPRING

I made a tool for reinstalling the sear and spring. I made it out of a CZ52 pistol cleaning rod with a little grinding it works like charm.
