I went to order one of these and the dealer told me that I wasn't going to find one locally. I asked him if I could buy on GB and have it sent to him and he said yes, so I went back to GB and bought one for $999. I have a feeling the local price would've been way higher. I am excited! Since it comes ready for a sight I also bought a RMR sight from Optics Planet, hope it fits!

Great gun, I ordered one as soon as PSA notified me they were in stock. It's everything TFB video says. My HS507K X2 arrived the same day as the gun and it mounted in minutes. At the range it only required 3 slugs to zero the red dot, and the gun digested everything from light #6 game loads to magnum 00 buck. Even burned through some old Remington Express buck from the 60's without issues.

TY for that, sounds great! I wish I had upgraded the shipping because waiting for Thursday is killing me. Nice optic too! I went with a Sig Romeo Zero since I couldn't afford a Holosun or Trijicon after the gun.

Did you adjust the LOP?

Well, no 940 for me. At least not yet. I went to the gun store where the 940 was delivered, did the paperwork and then left as the stupid background check is taking 2 to 5 days. I've waited since 6/30 for it to get here, and now this - I might as well be back in CA with the waiting period. This is the first time in NV (19 yrs.) that I did not leave with the gun.

Regarding Post_9,
Valkman probably knows this now, but in NV, there's no additional background check or waiting, if a buyer has a current concealed carry permit for the FFL to photocopy for its records. The $25 DRoS fee is also waived.

Even though fairly easy, many folks don't make the effort to get the concealed carry permit and just pay the DRoS fee. Most of the time, an FFL will get the approval over the phone while the customer waits. I understand evenings, holidays, and later hours can result in a customer needing to return as the FFL may be open, while the NV State firearms-approval-personnel may be off or closed/closing.

Yes I let my CCW lapse some time ago but want to renew it. This store has a class 8/20 and I may go. They explained that a CCW takes the place of a background check, but I had to pay the $25. Plus it's the weekend and that got in the way. Oh well it's way too hot to shoot right now.

Are the box-fed bullpup shotguns not good "tactical" shotguns ?

I know this thread is about the 940 but TFB is calling the 940 the best semi shotgun under $1,000.00

IDK the answer to your question, I am a noob when it comes to semi-autos.
