The MC1Sc has been out for awhile. Now there's a bigger MC2Sc (think I got that right), has anyone shot or bought one? Usually when a gun is introduced and you don't hear anything after the initial flurry, it's because it's a dog. Haven't heard anything about the Mossbergs.

Mossberg may be a little different. It has a definite blue-collar vibe to it that is enough to send the Smith/Ruger/CZ/Kimber/HK/Dan Wesson crowd in the opposite direction while still being a good gun.

So has anyone got one? Has it worked out for you? Have problems surfaced? How is Mossberg to deal with?

Every review I have read said it was a decent choice. I think it has just gotten lost in the long list of existing polymer pistols. I also think some people unfairly criticized the method for removing the striker to disassemble the gun. It is well thought out but some viewed it as a sellout to "Nervous Nellies" who think it is a poor design to require pulling the trigger to disassemble the gun.

I have the first version and really enjoy the feel and how it shoots. The magazines that come with it has a cheap feel. But, in my mind, that is offset since i can use glock 43 mags with it. The trigger and sights are ok and the price (from academy) was really good. I would definitely buy it again.

Thanks, MySuomi. Thinking of getting one for a truck gun or to shove in a pocket. If it ends up in an evidence locker, it would be nothing to lose sleep over.

Happy to hear from someone who's had good luck with them and would buy again.

How is Mossberg to deal with?

BIG YMMV, but my 'dealings' with Mossberg(with a rifle), were less than spectacular, actually not good, bad..and 8 weeks MINIMUM to deal with it IF I had sent it back, I didn't.
