Most beautiful auto

I always thought the BHP "Practical" was pretty slick looking, or the Robar version:

Though, frankly, the most beautiful guns I've ever seen pistol wise were some twin SAAs done up by the master gunsmith under Sam Colt himself; most beautiful rifle was one owned by George Washington (both the SAAs and the rifle are at a museum here in town).

Absolutely gorgeous.

Oops, should've captioned the pic.

Auto Mag and Colt Woodsman (2nd Model Match Target)
I'd snapped this pic while I had them at the range not too long ago and then this thread got resurrected. Other folks listed both of them pretty early in the thread and I agreed, so...

I can sympathise with engraving on a good quality sidelock shotgun or double rifle, there is a lot of metal to cover, maybe a little squiggle of scroll engraving on a lever action, but not on an autopistol (it's like putting lipstick on a pig).

Best looking pistols:
Luger, especially the artillery model
Lahti L35 (true it has "wide hips" but it combines looks with function, and there's plenty of it to get hold of)
Kimball (I don't want to fire one and have to remove the slide from my eye socket though)
Semmerling

Worst:
H&K VP70: BIG doesn't describe it
MAC 10
Berretta

This is the most beautiful pistol I own. It's as it came from the factory in Brazil. I think it's incredible looking.
