Mount a light to my Benelli Supernova

I've got a Benelli Supernova 12ga for HD/4 legged defense (coyotes, bobcats etc)

I would like to mount a flashlight on it since it makes it easier to find those 4 legged intruders in the dark.

I've seen the Mesa tactical shell holder with a top mounted picatinny rail. It just seems like a light mounted on top would stop me from aiming.

Anyway to mount a light to the barrel or would an extension like this be the only solution.

NEBO makes some good lights that can be barrel or mag tub mounted, they are VERY bright (and cheap >.>)..

Not really the flashlights I'm havin trouble with. It's getting them mounted on the supernova

The lights I am talking about come with a cushioned clamp that lets you mount them on say... The barrel...
