Today I’m multitasking while working.....lol

I moved my powder dispenser (and recalibrated before dispensing) where I can dump 800x charges while paying attention to work. Since that powder meters bad in auto discs, I use the FA to get cases filled. When I get a full block I take them to the reloading room to finish them off.

It’s not the fastest way but one where I can get 10MM loaded en mass..

I would guess, like anything else, sales weren't up to expectations. Lots of threads with folks complaining about how it meters so i would bet those folks found better alternatives.

I bought a pound of 800-X and quickly found a new 45Colt Ruger only pet load with it, then a month later they discontinued it. Argh.

I bought most of a 5lb can of 800x many years ago from someone who used it for shotgun loads and didn't want to use it anymore and I still have most of it left. I don't recall exactly, but I think he wanted $20-25 for the can. This was when powder at the LGS was around $20 a pound. I've used it in .40 and 10mm loads where it has worked wonderfully. The only problem is the metering. At the time I tried it in .40, I was doing USPSA matches and needed to load on a progressive press where 800x didn't work worth a darn. If you don't mind weighing each charge, it works great.
