It shoots great after I did a little magazine lips tuning and turned the striker around the right way.

I got it from a guy who took it apart to clean it up and put the striker in bassackwards. They go together, but they lock up and don't work. We sold a jillion Ravens in our store back in the day, and people were always doing that. I paid $20.00 for this Jennings. After I bent the mag lips inward just a tad it started feeding like a champ.

Charging field mice beware!

Cleanest Jennings Ive seen in, well, maybe ever!
Exactly!! Where is the electrical tape holding on one grip panel and the chunk missing out of the slide where it was dropped when running from the cops? 🤔

My only entry into the “Name the least ergonomic and worst shooting CCW auto pistol ever” contest…an AMT Backup .380.

Had the exact same gun. But I know mine was less ergonomic than yours. Mags for mine had the flat base plate. No finger hook to hold onto.

I briefly had one of those about 35 years ago. Took it to a gunshow to find another magazine, accidentally dropped the magazine and it spontaneously disassembled when it hit the floor. Decided not to keep it after that and traded it off.

I'll give it this much: for a compact .380, at least the AMT's slide didn't bite me the way my PPK/S used to.

My dad had a Jennings in .22 like the OPs. I put God only knows how many bricks of .22 through it. It was stolen in a home burglarly in 1994. It turned up in Ohio 2 years ago on a DUI stop.

I had a J-22 once. A few times it would get a wild hair and decide to go full auto for a few rounds.
I got one of these now. A Titan .25 that my mother in law gave me.View attachment 1179725
I once had a PPK/s myself that would automatically Pew Pew Krappen! every other magazine or so. Always brought the heart rate up a bit when that occurred.

Stay safe.

I was aware of their reputation and never considered owning one. I did buy a very small 25 semi that I have forgotten the brand name of but very cheap in price to lay on the dash of my motorcycle fairing. There were several more bike riders I was acquainted with that did the same. It was dependable and my oldest grandson loved to shoot it when he was a kid. After hearing the story from a state cop about driving the same person to the hospital 3 times after having been shot in the chest with the same 25 by the same wife and still among the living that I have told before on this forum I traded it in favor of something more powerful. Then the company I worked for became huffy about firearms on company property and not wanting to park my bike outside the gate I quit carrying anything to work.

Good tactics, no doubt.

Drop the gun, and when they're distracted stab them with the blade.

I probably have more faith in the gun than the blade. 🤣

I worked quite a few shootings with the Raven/Phoenix/Jimenez .25’s. They actually worked most of the time!

Weird story..

I responded to a suicide. Guy went to his ex’s work with flowers. When she walked out, he shot himself in the head with a Raven .25.

He’d bought the gun at a pawn shop a few days prior.

A month or so later, the Detective called me. They’d run the ballistics on the gun. It was used in a murder a few years before in the hood in our city. (It was a crack deal).

And, I’d worked that Murder. Gun and suspect were gone when I got there.

That POS gun had (at least) two bodies on it.

A buddy got one from his son, bought a box of .25s. I told him they have a really lousy reputation; we took it to the range, and it didn't make it through a magazine.
I got the rest of the box of .25s.
BTW, had a .380 Backup, too. It was one snappy stinker to shoot.
