Great pics! Mine's in equally good shape and I've even got the same wood grips on mine. Also managed to find a factory-new extended magazine for mine. It only gives one more round capacity but it sure does improve your grip on the gun. Great gun! Xclnt carry-piece! Certainly equal to Colt's imitation.

I have wished Sig would have made a “government model” P238 with a longer barrel and 7 round length grip. I usually use a 7 round mag in my P238 and P238HD. Sadly, not to be. I also wished they would have made a P938 in an all steel HD. The made a few prototypes and listed it in the catalog one year but it never came to be. Knowing myself, I’d probably buy two of each. Damn the budget, full speed ahead!

Do any of youse guys ever have problems with the mag release button? From time to time the button pushes itself and the mag is about to escape - very disconcerting to say the least . . .

Not on (either of) my Gov't Models. Which may have to do with the length of the grip and not 'forcing' any fingers up on it. Dunno. YMMV

Thanks for the input. It has only happened while in a holster OWB - never while in the hand. I hope others will chime in. Mine was bought new in the late 1980s.
