I just realized from your 1st pic that we have the same old Hoppes front rest and rear bag! I've had mine for about 30+ years now

My home bench goes to 300yds, I use a portable tgt stand on my dam for 100yd testing. My other shoot lanes w/berms & steel go out to 760yds.
Very nice setup! I have three front rests, two Hoppes and one heavy one with a windage top that I used for Rimfire Benchrest matches. The top is wider than I like for sporters, even though I have a narrower bag than the one used for competition. I tend to hold sporter forends down pretty firmly, so haven't noticed any measurable difference in accuracy using the lighter rests. The larger top of the match rest is less comfortable to hold sporter forends down.

BTW: On my older Hoppes rest, I used pieces of golf shaft to lengthen my vertical adjustment arms, gluing them on with epoxy. Having longer arms makes it easier to make small adjustments.

I have to say, when I first glanced at your first photo.... I also thought the rocks were gopher holes.

And my "wouldn't that be awesome" thoughts took over... Lol

Anyhow, great range.. enjoy your "range right out your door" !. Someday I hope to have something like that.
