Very pretty! How available is 380 ammo in your area? It is difficult to find 380 ammo around here.

I have both myself. both super guns, both go banfg when needed.

PM sent--commander..

Didn't want to feed my Golden Sabre handloads. it feed all my 100 FMJ handloads though.
No matter how good your handloads may be (and not saying they aren't), Kahrs are not handloader-friendly pistols, i.e., they are only recommended for and warranted to function with factory new ammunition. The chamber dimensions are on the "tight" side of spec.

I need to do a fluff job.
:scrutiny: I would hold off on that until you've had a chance to try factory new JHP. The fact that it digested the FMJ handloads means there are no egregious defects in workmanship, at least.

I would

not worry to much about hand loading for range use. If one every once in awhile hangs up. no big deal. BUT for defense carry, my magazine will always have new defense ammo in it.

71 commander,
how much was your pm9? i've been thinking about trading in my M&P 340 for the pm9.
but i need to do more research. can you convince me pls! thanks.

My K9 does not feed handloads well. I have been wondering if this is a problem with the PM9 and it is one of the reasons I have held off on buying one (although I am seriously considering it).

i JUST BOUGHT AND SOLD TO MY GOOD RIDING BUDDY A pm9 USED OFF OF A FELLA for $300. itwas made in 2004 and it looks totally new. Both magazines, case and instructions came with it. We went right out and put 200 rounds down range without one hic cup. this was a steal IMO. I had no aprehensions about buying it even knowing it was made 4 years ago. Good guns should not change . I did exchange the upgraded recoil assembly that now has the 1/2 washer type thingy that goes against the barrel. the origihnal was 3/8" and kahr had upgraded that a few years ago. I should have kept it for my self but he had shot and seen my PM9 and wanted one..

Girodin: My k9 has 4500 flawless rounds through it BUT allwith factory ammo. If it feeds with factory ammo and not with reloads it has to be in the reloading process. (worn dies/ possable out of tolerance dies/ bad casing)

Kahr and just about every other manufacturer will tell you this. If everyone listened to manufactures no one would reload.

No i like my PM9 much more. love the firepower. it conceals for me "almost"
as easy as the P380. The only issue I had withthe P380 was that it would not feed 102 grain golden sabres without engaging the slide lock lever. I file dit back some what and it is ok but occasionally it willfail to lock open becuase I think I filed off to much but I don't carry a spare magazine so whenI carry the 102 sagres, I really don't care. funtion wise it has been great.and I shoot it better than my PM9 and I just can't understand that either, but I do. Do I like it though? Yes it is a well made little picket rocket and eaks in quality. I will put nite sights on it when availalble. The P380 sights are awesome compared to most little pocket 380"s.
