My newest rimfire/centerfire matching pair,,,
The only differences are the barrel length and the sights.
S&W's Model 36 and Model 34,,,
Both nickle plated, round butt J-frames,,,
And to my absolute delight both grips have correct serial numbers.
This makes my 11th matching set,,,
And in all probability it will be the last I put together.
I already owned the Model 34 and really had no desire to pair it up,,,
But when I saw the Model 36 in a forum classified ads,,,
There was no way my psyche would let it pass.
I think I'll name the 34 Elle and the 36 Dakota,,,
After the Fanning sisters who are blonde and pretty.
My only disappointment is that I was hoping they would fit inside,,,
The Coffin shaped case I purchased from Hampels Woodland Products.
But alas, it's just a tad bit too small for both guns.
Anyways,,,
Here they are,,,
My Shiny Ladies.
