Just picked up and shot my new (new to me) Kel Tec sub 2000 (G17 type) today. Overall I was very impressed, but did have some minor issues with a few accessories I bought. I purchased some Korean PW Arms 33rd magazines for the Kel Tec for range use. I have seen various warnings throughout the net including THR regarding these mags. I kept them partially loaded for a few days to "break in" the spring. The magazines constantly failed to seat rounds properly, about every 3rd or 4th round. I expected this type of performance so I wasn't terribly surprised. I will keep them for range duty, but use them for self defense I will not. They might come into their own after some further break in...time will tell. My Glock factory mags posed no issues what so ever. I also purchased a 17rd Kahn magazine, had some of the same problems, fyi. Odd point, the two different brands were packaged identically...makes me think they are made in the same place. Thoughts? All in all I am initially very impressed with the Sub 2000, hope to get a lot of use out of it.
