How cool is that?

So far, it has functioned perfectly with no ambi safety problems, or any other problems.

It's accurate and reliable. So, I couldn't figure out why the guy I got it from was so eager to trade it off.

666 is actually a random number meaning squat

Squat is often irrelevant, but it could mean you have a vampire killer destined to vanquish all vampires, if a werewolf doesn't do you in first. Werewolves are real, while vampires are make-believe. To each his own, but 666 in a serial number sounds really cool. Since I have no such firearm serial numbers, I really envy you. cliffy, the werewolf hunter

I do my best at party happenings

Yet, I believe werewolves are real, due to many occurances I've encountered recently in Michigan. More Coyotes of massive stature and Reddish Wolyotes have shown their teeth recently in Lower Michigan than ever before. Mere coincidence, you say? I think not. Recently re-introduced Gray Wolves may have some significance regarding my recent observations. Instead of people hunting in the wilds of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, perhaps Wolyotes or far worse, I fear with good reason, are now hunting us. Time will devulge all if, as always, a bit too late. cliffy, the werewolf hunter, with zero kills to date.

The biblical ref to 666 is just a clue to the AC's identity. Hollyweird will distort the meaning of almost anything.

Edited for spelling.

I hope your not one of those gomers that is going to run out and put the gun on Gun Broker for $50,000,000 because it is a "rare" collectable Taurus!

Really cool. I would go to the local Catholic church and borrow some holy water and bless that beast.

You could try some Episcopal holy water but I hear Catholic exorcisms work better and are more likely to be permanent.

LOL Hey you have an excuse now. If you every had to shoot anybody.....All you have to say is that the gun made you do it. It's Possessed. 666:evil:

Beat me to it, I was gonna suggest he try to sell it to Bruce Dickinson :)
Bruce is apparently a heck of a swordsman, so he might enjoy a move to powder weapons :D

I have a PPK with 60666 serial. It sneaks out on Friday the 13th and does horrible things, and won't tell me or share in its ill gotten gains.

Someday I'll be rid of it, but if I tried to sell it it'd just come knocking back at the door.

You just can't get away from evil.

Do the firearms world a favor if you have '666' serialed firearms and acquire more though, you're already tainted with one and might as well have two or sixteen.

I have room for a few more evildoing guns in my safe. Please send them with instruction on care and feeding, PMs acceptable!

Save the world from their evil menace.

Other gun numbers

I have a gun with "pi" in its serial number, but it continues to shoot in a straight line, defying the influence of this circular number.

I have another one with "555" in it, but it isn't a movie telephone number.

I have another one with a "0" in it, but it doesn't belong to an operator.

Yep. Lots of meaning in numbers. :)

Over the Gulf of Mexico I once flew a helicopter that had the N number of N1313X.

Now I'm not superstitious at all but the chopper went down three days of the three days I flew it. The first day the engine oil tank cracked. The second day the engine swallowed a valve. The third day the carb sprang a leak.

I heard later that that helicopter had put the pilots in the water five times.:(

Superstition and Religion are Bed Fellows

666 in a serial number of any firearm means nothing special, yet get rid of it just in case. Werewolves might seek you out because of this weird phenomenon. I always scrutinize the serial number before I purchase. Call me careful, I guess, just in CASE! I generally throw a few grains of salt over my left shoulder prior to any firearm purchase. If you believe any of this, you're scaring me. cliffy

M2 Carbine: Did you fly it over the Sargasso Sea in the Bermuda Triangle?

Numbers can have meaning, other than the obvious, but most of the time do not,IMO.

No, just flew that ship South of New Orleans.
After the thing going down three days in a row the passengers refused to fly in it anymore.
I know they would never get in a aircraft with the numbers 666.
Those Cajuns are a superstitious bunch.:D

If I had a gun with a serial number 666 I think I'd go all the way and have Demons, etc, engraved on it.:)
Make a good conversation piece.
