The latest issue of American Handgunner has a nice article on the NAA Guardian (.32 & .380). Is there anyone here who carries the .380 regularly? If so, what is your opinion of this pistol? Also, can anyone post a picture of the .380 with the 10-round extended magazine?

Thanks!

I carry the Guardian .32 regularly and have shot the .380 before. I came very close to buying a Guardian .380 but didn't due to three factors:
1. it is 50% heavier than the .32 which is very noticeable
2. I'm not convinced that I would be gaining that much more by going to a .380 in that size of gun. Going from a Guardian .32 to a larger, like Sig 230/232 .380 I believe would make a difference but in such a small gun that is made for such close distances (in your face range) I think the .32 would serve that purpose nearly as well.
3. My .32 has been very reliable and that is what is most important to me.

I can't envision what a .380 Guardian would look like with a 10 round mag in it. :uhoh:

Five...First off...how are you?? doing ok?? thas gooooodddd... :D

Nothing wrong with the .380..BUT as mike said...It is a bit on the heavy side...I have fired one once or twice and liked it, however I will stick with my P3At....In a good holster it carries well<~~~blatant PLUG!! :neener:

I carry my Guardian .380 almost daily. It resides in a Graham back pocket holster. It's a pretty hefty chunk of stainless. I like it pretty well. Sorry, but I have no pics of my gun with the extended mags. I don't have the mags nor will I buy them. They defeat the purpose of why I bought the gun. This gun is not my choice for a range gun, so they have to use to me for pleasure shooting. I practice with it enough to stay proficient and that's the extent of it.
