The reason I use mostly Paddle holsters is my back is bad, and belts dig into my disks. I have found after 4 decades of carrying, that either a shoulder rig, or a paddle is really the best way for me, although I do have several holsters that fit the 19 with either cuts or Krydex brackets, the Paddle causes me far less pain. I can conceal a tlr 4, on a Glock 19 or 30 S, with relative ease. I sometimes run a separate belt just for the holster, "not even using the belt loops. I also have several types and widths of gun belts, from a less firm type to a belt with fiberglass or some sort of composite in it.
You can't even bend that one slightly. I have tried everything, and at night I just don't want to leave the gun on the nightstand out of a holster.
Waking up out of a dead sleep and grabbing for a glock in the dark, is not ever a great idea. I do also use a front NS on all my handguns. It's more for safety sake than anything else, because during the day, it's easy enough to take the lights and lasers off the rail. When you hit your mid 60's it's far better to have the laser/light combo on the gun you plan on grabbing if something goes bump in the night.
I also keep a second pistol with a revolver like trigger and NS on it near the main one, with a second mag.
My bedroom is set up so that you can't turn on a light after I go to bed and lock the door. So anyone breaking in, would give me the few extra seconds to prepare myself and the wife, for whatever was attempting to enter, along with several Tac lights around the house. I just picked up an 850 Lumen light with strobe, and that will blind anyone in a dark room.
