Hiya, folks!! This is probably an issue I came upon a year ago when I was starting my reloading hobby, and I probably just shoved it aside and forgot about it.
I was trimming some Luger cases down to the Makarov 18mm size with the Lee trimmer in the drill-press. Obviously I ended up with burrs on the outside of the case, seeming of varying degrees based on the hardness of the brass. Some had none at all, others had a good deal of material.
Anyway, I started to chamfer the things with the Lee tool, and lo and behold, the darn thing's too deep. I can't get the case in there to de-bur the outside because there's not enough depth left on the case to hold onto and turn it. I imagine the 380ACP would have the same problem...
So... I need a recommendation for another chamfer tool that will address this specific need: a short case. Of course, being Monday, the national "Day All Useful GunShops are Closed", I can't go hunting for one, at least not in NE Ohio.
Gimme your useful suggestions for a tool that can do short cases.
