I have a S&W model 681 with the Hogue monogrip on it. It fits my hand ok, but the grip & the finger grooves do not work for my wife. I was looking at the smaller grips from Pachmayr, the Compac, but they only list them for round butt K&L frame guns.

Does anyone have any thoughts on a similar type of rubber grip for the K&L frame square butts?

Thanks for your help!

Your 681 is an L frame so the Pach's will fit unless it is a square butt. OOPS on rereading that I see that yours is a square butt so maybe the Pach Presentation grips?

You might try the Pachmayr Professional Gripper.
This is an open back grip, with finger grooves that's a better fit for small hands than the larger Pachmayr models.

Also, you might try a Hogue Mono-grip made from hard nylon. These are for people who want to modify the grip by reshaping and sanding.
You can remove or alter the finger grooves.

Of course, you could also break out the wallet and give your wife a nice pair of fancy wood Hogue's made without finger grooves at all.
Check their web site under options to see the non-grooved models.

I've pretty well looked at all the popular priced grips around, and the Hogue's are the best fit for smaller hands that I've been able to find.
All the other brands are just slightly larger.

Take a look at Butler Creek (Uncle Mike's) rubber boot grip for the square butt K-L frame. It appears to be the smallest grip of that type around.
