Need information on German Rifle

I purchased a GEW 98 rifle at an estate sale years ago; Deutschewaffen - UND munitions fabriken, Berlin 1916 is on a metal plate; It seems to be all
original with matching numbers, strap, cleaning rod. Can someone tell me
where I can get an honest appraisal of its value and recommend the best
way to sell it? Any information on the gun would be appreciated.

if your rifle was here in france you would be looking at around 1200 euros for gun with matching numbers? theres a couple of guys in my gun club who collect mausers and a good one like yours would sell straight a way? you guys have all the luck sorry im not much help but im overcome with envy?
