My Remington glasses are now 7 years old and have picked up enough scratches to be a distraction whilst shooting. Also, they are amber and I would like clear ones in future.

I use the Howard Leight Impact Sport ear muffs, and I would prefer to get glasses with low profile arms which do not interfere much with the ear muffs.

So I need low profile, clear shooting glasses with a wraparound lens which is distortion free.

What can you guys recommend?

I'd check the local NAPA or industrial safety supply. They all carry ANSI. standard glasses that are very comfortable and reasonably priced.
I bet you find a pair that you may just wear daily at least the tinted UV resistant styles.

Oh I see you are from SA. I'd still check online, you may have different standards for lenses there but here in the US industrial safety glasses offer a high standard of protection.

Ah, location is no problem. I am in London and I visit the US regularly. I can shop online also.
I need a recommendation on a particular brand, preferably if someone has used it.

Try starting with Uvex. They have many different styles but hardly any cost more than $10 US.
Most are one size fits all and are adjustable to some extent.
As someone who has been in a profession requiring mandatory use, the newer styles are light years ahead in comfort to those of the past.
If you are using 7 yr old Rems. I'd bet you could about roll the dice and find a pair as comfortable as what you have.

I like those carbons, but not the band. I sometimes like to take off the glasses and wipe them whilst keeping the ears on.
Thanks for the link, I'm sure I'll find something I can use there.

Full disclosure: I am a retailer.

They're on the opposite end of the price spectrum, but my wife really likes the ESS Crossbow Suppressors I got her. The main decision for us was the prescription inserts, but I was really impressed with what comes in the package - two frames (one with flat earpieces for ear pro and one that's more of an Oakley style) and two lenses, with multiple other colors available. You're basically getting two pairs for the price, so it isn't as bad. They're ANSI, OSHA and Mil Std rated.

I have a different style that don't have the thin earpieces, but they're comfortable enough I wear them daily as regular sunglasses. I think they're a worthwhile investment if you're able to swing the price, but you can also buy several pairs of those Uvexes for the same price.
