OK, here's the need: I bowhunt, so the rangefinder has to be accurate down to 10 yd. I hunt at long range with a rifle, so the rangefinder has to be able to range a deer-size furry critter to 300 yd or better. It should be able to range a range target out to 500. It should not be bothered by rain or close brush. It should be useful in low light as well as full daylight. Of course it must be utterly reliable in the field under the worst conditions. And it should co$t as little as can be managed.
