Lee Auto Breech Lock Pro if you don’t mind the SafeTPrime feeding system. I find it works well. 4 stations.

If you want fully automated primer feed then your most economical option is the Lee Six-Pack Pro. I think the kinks are worked out of it and it’s a steal for a 6-station press.

Set either of those up with Lee’s case feeder and you have a nice brass prep setup.

Don’t get a Lee Pro 4000! unless you like to tinker !!

I would highly recommend 2023 version of Lee Pro 1000 with new priming system (Similar to Pro 6000) that will work with any brand primer (Including slightly larger Metric sized primers) - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/new-2023-gen3-lee-pro-1000-unboxing.916672/

The new priming system readily seated different brands of primers to around .004" below flush down to last 3 primers and with a light tap on the chute, fed the last 3. Also, having the case feeder will speed up the process. (Don't forget to mod the case collator with drilled penny and spent 22LR casing to prevent upside .380Auto/9mm cases)

This is repost from above thread - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...3-lee-pro-1000-unboxing.916672/#post-12567479

Spent the morning with the new primer system and found primer chute/trough will reliably feed primers down to last 3 primers and with the primer guide in front of chute/trough opening, I could tap on the chute to feed the last 3 primers.
Seated CCI/S&B/PMC/TulAmmo SP primers in various headstamp brass (Blazer/.FC./R-P/R-P"."/WIN/FC/G.F.L. pictured) and they fed reliably 100%.
With moderate pressure on the ram lever, primers were seated to .004"-.005" below flush with most seating around .004".
WIN/FC brass were seated with S&B primers using moderate/firm pressure and primers were seated to .004" and .005" below flush.

This is the new priming system similar to Pro 6000 that uses sliding primer guide. With a light tap on the chute, it will feed last 3 primers in the chute.

Hah! What else would I do with any press? My ABLP (Pro 4000) runs without issue… .., … now! :D
Oooh yeah! i’m buying the bushing and a looking to rig a Dillion powder drop or RCBS drop! Rigged a Dillion Powder check on it too! and a Frankin bullet seater!

Pro 4000 = $250
Stuff to make it work = $500! lol

Pro 4000 = $250
2023 Pro 1000 kit = $235 - https://www.titanreloading.com/prod...ion-reloading-equipment/lee-presses/pro-1000/

2023 Pro 1000 is not the Pro 1000 of years past. How many progressive presses at this price range comes with dies, breech lock bushings for fast caliber change, powder measure (With adapter to accept factory 1 lb containers), case feeder, finished round bin, fast primer type swap out (No need to remove shellplate) and can still produce finished OAL variance with .000" to .002" in full progressive mode (Shellplate full)? - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...pro-1000-unboxing.916672/page-2#post-12569726
  • WIN - .000"
  • R-P - .002"
  • R-P "." - .002"
  • .FC. - .002"

yeah… bit it still kidda sucks. powder everywhere, have to get the flush bushimg becuse crimp die won’t go deep enough, every times it jams from not stroking the handle right - powder start flying everywhere. and the primer system is funny too

I’ma make it work, but I should have bought a Dillion 750XL or a 1050XL

this is for .223

After learning to reload on Dillon 550, I used 650 with case feeder for pistol calibers and 550 for rifle calibers for years. But they got replaced with Lee Pro 6000 and 2023 Pro 1000.

Why?

After exhaustive testing, Pro 6000 produced down to .001" finished OAL variance (2023 Pro 1000 down to .000"-.002") on full progressive mode (shellplates full) with fast caliber/primer change (No more pecking primers on flip tray for remainder of my retirement years) - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...r-oal-consistency.911743/page-3#post-12446468

sounds like Lee got their issues worked out!

Not sure what your price point is, or what other brands (beside RCBS dies) you're vested in.
I don't run full-progressive any longer as production has eclipsed demand.
Regardless, I still use my LNL AP for the tasks the OP mentioned above, using as many or as few stations as I need.
