I took my SP101 apart this afternoon and put in a 11lb Wolff mainspring. I was able to dry fire the gun about three times before things bound up. The trigger returned foward but could not be pressed back again. I took the gun apart to look for the problem. When holding just the action in my hand, I could get the trigger to move forwards and backwards. But, if I shook it around a little, held it on one side, etc. it would lock up again. A little more shaking and again it would function. I took the action apart and could only find one thing that looked unusual. The pawl plunger spring (part number KH05000 in manual) looked a little bent and chewed up at the non-plunger end. Is this what is causing my problem? Any ideas on how it could have happened? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

:banghead:

Thank you,

-Kevin

I think I answered my own question. Looks like that spring did get chewed up somehow and it wasn't pushing the trigger plunger up on to the cylinder latch the way it should. I was able to work with the spring a little and get things to operate properly. I'll still be sending off for a new spring though. If there is anything anyone can add, by all means chime in. Anyhow, thanks for looking.
