Need Suggestion For Conceal Carry

I commute and would like a way to conceal carry in a small fanny pack type bag that will attach to a camelpack/backpack shoulder straps and rest on my chest. I have seen large bags like this for photographers but I am looking for something smaller but just large enough for a .380 and spare magazine. Right now I am looking at a small fanny pack and will have to have the wife modify it to clip in or velcro via a loop to the shoulder straps of my camelpack. Any ideas or suggestions. Basically I want to carry but do not want the weapon in the back pack. It is kinda hard to conceal with cycle shorts on. GD
