Need Your Body Figure Dimensions for You CCW'ers.

I haven't started carrying, but would like to carry a full size 9mm. Looking into Springfield's XD or XDM line. Could someone give me a few pointers as to if this will actually work with my body size and type?

I'm interested in IWB or AIWB carry

It isn't exactly unnoticable, but when balanced out by 20 rounds on the left hip, it's comfortable and concealable.

I currently carry an FNS-40c IWB at 4 o'clock. I move to an OWB carry in the winter as IWB is never that comfortable for me.

I carry in a paper sack or a pocket anyways so what does my weight matter?

Alternate carry, LCP in the pocket.

Dress is mostly jeans or cargo shorts; tee shirts off work, untucked polo in the office.

For client meetings I dress up, but go unarmed in keeping with applicable laws and policies.

I'll play. 5-10, 155 lbs, slender build (you probably guessed that), 33 waist. I carry a CZ P-07 IWB at about the 1:30 clock position, spare magazine IWB at about 10:30. At work I wear a uniform and don't carry (not feasible when climbing on or leaning over a car), on my own time jeans or cargo pants and untucked "camp shirts." To keep the gun butt directly off my skin I wear an undershirt, which is tucked in.

Kind of a necro thread, and the OP hasn't posted in years, but here goes.

6'3", 235#, 37" waist (wear 38" pants), IWB, OWB, and pocket carry. Typically I've been pocket carrying a Taurus 709 slim 9mm in an Uncle Mike's pocket holster.

I carry IWB nearly always, either a Glock 30S/19/23 (depending on mood or whatever) in the warmer weather and a Glock 21 or commander length 1911 when its a bit cooler out (again, depending on mood).

Usually use a CompTac Minotaur or Wild Bill Concealment Covert Carry, again (again) depending on mood)

There are 4 in my roation. So...
High threat times...hiking around bears, hunting...threats of big critters basically I carry a taurus m44 44mag 6 shot 6" large frame revolver. I carry either vertical shoulder rig or concealed in a milsurp weight rig across my chest. Often there will be a flannel shirt or jacket covering the shoulder rig. Weight rig goes outside of everything with gun inside.
High people threat times...the mall, walmart on black friday, teeball championships...yep...Taurus pt99afs IWB right hand draw at either 10 or 2 oclock. Or in a shoulder rig under something.
Lower threat times like church or whatever I carry glock 42 in a Galco pocket holster in my right front pocket, or I carry a j frame 32swl 3" barrel IWB at 10 or 2 oclock.

Sometimes the j frame rides piggyback between my shoulder blades as a backup. Glock may serve there as well, just haven't made the holster yet.

5'11", 180 lbs., about 38-39 waist. It will mostly be loose sports shirts, t-shirts. Memphis has such a short winter.

Have never carried, except walking around this area late at night with a leather IWB Bianchi as an initial experiment. I don't like this IWB at all when seated-even empty.
What do you guys recommend for a First OWB with the Sig 232, or Polish P-83 (the larger Polish), as the 83 is very similar to my Makarovs?

To drive on multiple errands, would rather try out an OWB before any type of IWB. Which OWB paddle types are most popular for these guns?

I'm a hair over 6 foot, 300+ pounds, 56 in waist.

I generally carry a Glock 36 IWB around 3:30-4:00 although I some times replace that with my Glock 17 in cooler weather. I've also been known to carry a Glock 21 or S&W 686 OWB in the same spot when I'm wearing appropriate cover garments.

This is a weird thread and old to boot. I guess I'll play though.

I'm 6'3" and 195 lbs. I carry an XDs 45 in a Hidden Hybrib Holster, at 3:00, or 4:00 positions, IWB, depending on if I'm going to be mostly sitting or standing.

I fit into size 34 pants, but wear 36's since it is a bit more comfortable with a gun stuck in there too.
