Guys,
I picked up an NEF reciever this weekend.

Does anyone know a good place to buy barrels and stocks?

Any suggestions on which barrels are best for this set-up?

Does the H&R Topper stuff fit the NEF's?

Just went to their site. Does anyone know where I can find the serial # listing to tell me which reciever I have? I'm not sure what it was made for

If you know the serial number on your reciever then just call them. They are quite helpful. I usually call this number.

You'll need to verify if it's a rifle or a shotgun reciever. The shotguns have a large firing pin and are not heat treated to take rifle pressures. (Hence difference between 175.00+ rifle, and 88.00 shotgun). If it is a rifle reciecer, GunParts Corp. has an abundance of barrels, and other parts. (but alas no .357max barrels, I let one of those got away when H&R went under and dumped them on GPC.)
Also, you may be able to send the reciever back to NEF and get a new barrel fitted to it. Prices are quite reasonable.
