I have two people so far telling me and have seen an email from what appears to be a government agency to a person saying Nevada will start honoring an Arizona Permit/License to Carry come July 1, 2011. This surprises me as Nevada dumped FL and UT and the only states they honor today do not issue Non Resident permit/licenses or have a very narrow Non Resident Issue Policy. That lead me to believe they wanted to shut out anyone who was not from the listed states. AZ does Issue Non Resident permits and they can be obtained by mail. It looks like it is so but until NV Posts that info on their official website it is not official. I would think an official announcement would be made in the near future.

Last year, during a NV CCW info meeting for the public, the NVSCA eluded to the fact that they were considering adding the AZ CCW permit to the list of states that NV honors. They said that the final vote/decision would be in late-May and, if AZ gets added to the list, it would go into effect 07-01-2011.

They also said that if UT added a firearms qualification requirement for their permit, that they would re-add UT to the list.

Wardenwolf - Be carefull, I understand that the city of Lost Wages doesn't recognize any carry permit, including those issued by their own county.

The city of Las Vegas absolutely recognizes Nevada CCW permits as well as those authorized by the state of Nevada.

You may be confusing the fact that Clark County/Las Vegas residents are required to register their concealable handguns, but this does not apply to visitors.

Buck Nekkid, Not what I was told by two different gun shops in LV two years ago. Also NV CCW holders only are required to register semi-autos for concealed carry and they are listed right on the CCW permit, wheel guns, they don’t care.

1) There are no non-resident AZ permits. That's why your address isn't on it.

2) "The city of Las Vegas absolutely recognizes Nevada CCW permits as well as those authorized by the state of Nevada." This is 100% correct.

3) As of Oct 1, 2011 qualification in NV with any semi auto allows carry of all semi autos, just as with revolvers.

I have a NV CFP issued by the LVMPD for the last 9 years.

Currently*, the NV CFP lists the semi-auto firearms you are qualified to carry and revolvers is listed as a category (Revolvers authorized/unauthorized).
The semi-auto firearms are listed by make, model, caliber and date the firearm was added to the permit.
*Legislation was been passed that make semi-auto firearms into a category (like revolvers). The new law goes into effect 10-01-2011.

Clark County has a handgun registration law.
All residents of Clark County are required to register all their handguns with the LVMPD.
Non-residents of Clark County are required to register their handguns only if they stay in Clark County for more than 60 days.

The LVMPD CCW Unit does not require non-residents of Clark County to reigster the handguns listed on their NV CFP with the LVMPD.
