I can hope that if national carry did pass, and became law of the land, is that the standard by which all states are judged would be mild. For example a modest fee for the permit, maybe a classroom or range qualification. Not something ridiculous like NYS that involves $200+ application, fingerprint cards, judges signature, interviews with police, and character witnesses.
