I never cared for fiber optic sights for years. But after getting a Performance Center Shield last year, I found I loved them. I also like the red/green combo....

Then, I ended up getting two Performance Center Shield Pluses (and I sold the thinner Shield).... Same fiber optic setup...

Then, I had WAL (member at the Beretta Forum who does gunsmithing) install fiber optics on my Beretta M9A3... Same color setup. He cuts the original tritium sights and installs the fiber optics.... I noticed it cut my group size in 1/2, because I can finally clearly see the dots...

I then asked if he could do the same thing to my HK. I sent him my P2000 slide, and it just came back today... All I could find were front sights with fiber optics for the P2000.... Nothing for the rear sight. So, this solves that problem :)

I can't wait to go try it at the range...

There is a saying, "A solution to a problem that doesn't exist"

There is very little demand for fiber optic dots in rear sights because you should be looking through the notch of the rear sight, not at the rear blade. Dots on the rear blade slows down recognition of the sights, front and rear, being properly aligned when shooting quickly

To each their own, but the dots on your fiber optic rods look huge. I'm using the Dawson fiber optic front blade on most of my competition pistols where the bulb is recessed into the .10" blade. For accuracy, your eye will be drawn to the front sight by the glowing fiber optic but you should still be aiming by looking at the top of the front blade

I absolutely love the Wilson Combat Vickers Elite F.O.front & blind battlesight rear sights that I have on my Glock Gen3 17 and 19. Works like crazy for me on these guns. I will tend to agree with the previous poster about a F.O. rear sight setup, and the Dawson F.O. sights would be on my 2 Glocks if I didn’t like these W.C. Vickers Elite sights so much.

But if the F.O. rear on your HK P2000 works for you then that’s all that counts. My own P2000 might be the the best out of the box gun that I own, I never needed to change anything on it and the gun is just awesome for range or carry purposes.
