New Holster For My Smith & Wesson K Frame

I made this for my Smith & Wesson 617 and my Model 10. I'm shooting Steel Challenge matches and want a fast holster for the Model 10 and I like to wear my gun for rimfire instead of having to bag it between stages.

The setup as seen is for the 617 with bag to hold empties and my unloaded DS-10 Speed Loaders. The bag and loader holder is from Revolver Supply Co.

This one is for my Ruger Mark IV 22/45 with a C-More Red Dot Sight on it.
I made this holster for a wheelchair mount. I eventually changed form the wooden dowel to a metal holder.

Sort of reminds me of the Hoyt break-front holsters that were so popular among my senior peers when I started in LE in 1991. One agency I worked for issued Model 66 .357’s, several veterans still used them well into the 1990’s.

Those holsters, sadly, have pretty much disappeared from Sam Browne belts anymore .

Wow- pretty cool. Great work. I have a set of 2", 4" and 6" inch barrel Model 15's i really need to invest in some quality gunleather for, all shoot far too nicely to spend most of their time in my safe.
