I recently bought a Tikka T3 CTR, and I've been very impressed with it.

I also bought a new-to-me car, and could use a new keyring fob to go with it. I think I put the Tikka to good use. :D

Shot at 100 yards. Front bipod, rear bag. Bone stock rifle. Ammo is 140gr SMK over H4350, Lapua brass and Federal match primers.

Congrats
That's how I earned my BSA shooting merit badge back in the 60s, except I did it with a 1897 Marlin with leaf sights at 50'. But hey, I could see then!
Congrats on the setup!

I have the prior edition of that rifle (plastic mag, non-threaded barrel). It's an absolute tack-driver, and I'd buy another one again in a heartbeat.

I still hear some people bemoaning Tikkas as cheap guns, but the proof is on the paper (or the coin). Best gun I've ever owned for the money. Period.

Five in a dime at 100 yards (and the rifle has put out dozens of groups of similar size):

Nice gun and very nice shooting, but next time at least use a pre-1982 solid copper penny.[emoji12]

FYI, If you carry your keys when going through airport security and they notice the fob, TSA will go through your stuff with a fine tooth comb.

They'll even flip through the pages of your paperback book, apparently looking between them for a concealed .308 rifle. :what:

Although I'm familiar with the Tikka name, I had never looked at their rifles before reading this thread. They really have a nice lineup at a great price.

That's great that they're making this rifle in .260 now! Mine's a .308, but I have an Accuracy International in .260… the .260 has great ballistics by comparison.

I put holes in Lincolns head all the time, he makes a great washer. Great shot btw....whats the cartridge?

i noticed you shot him in the face.. didnt want to be thought of as copying booth by shooting him in the back of the head instead?
