Best Bullet
You need to spend some time and money trying different powders and bullets to see what works best for your rifle.I went to the range twice last week trying different loads. After about $100 and six hours I found a good combination.Everything I was trying was giving me a 4'' group at 100yds. which was not good enough for me.I tried 3 different loose powders and pyrodex pellets with powerbelts and sabots, all with the same results. When I changed to 777 pellets with a 300 grn. platnum powerbelt,my group dropped to an inch & a quarter.I had to use a Federal 209 primer, the 777 primer had a slight delay in ignition.I didn't try the 777 pellets with the sabots,I only had two left.My point is,get busy at the range.
The Barnes bullet you like might shoot great with a different powder.
