I just acquired a low round count 700 vs, 22-250. my first 2 shots were dead nuts and every shot after that climbed about 1/4- 1/2"!!! what would cause this? I am using factory Winchester 55 gr psp ammo. HELP

Cold bore point of impact is different after the barrel heats up. Also clean bore point of impact can be different than a fouled bore.

it just seems like it keeps climbing . I only shot 6 rounds but kept climbing. I wonder if a different load or different powder could keep it to a minimum.

its the same scope that came with the gun. what should I look for on the scope?

If your barrel isn't free floated, your POA can move as the barrel heats up.The stock may show a shiny mark inside the barrel channel near the forend tip. This can be sanded out with a large dowel wrapped with sandpaper. This may solve your problem. I would make sure the bore is very clean first, it might save you some work.
