I'm old school so no manual safety bugs me but I can deal with it. I just looked myself and I'm seeing Gen 3 SAR9s without manual safeties.I have two SAR9s that I thought I really liked at first, but the manual safety began to bug me. There was word that a replacement pin would be available for order to replace the manual safety, but as of now, no dice. I wonder, seeing the compact model having what looks like a pin where the manual safety goes, means they have such a pin for sale. The mechanism is likely completely different, but it doesn't hurt to look into it.

Eeee-uuuu. I bet it would be about as hard to see the sights on it as a polished stainless gun. Indoor range which I don't have would be OK but it is bright sunshine for me.I'm old school so no manual safety bugs me but I can deal with it. What I'd like to get is the SAR9 Storm....... Not sure I'd be able to hit anything with it though.
