Check out the new Taurus 24/7 pro.
I have a taurus 24/7 in 45 that has become one of my favorite handguns. I have sigs, colts and others but I trust this gun and use it for a house gun. I have 500+ rounds without a failure. It feel great in my hand and has 12 + 1 rounds of 45 in a frame that any hand size can grip. I like that it has a consistant trigger pull. My complaints for this gun is the long trigger pull (but very smooth) compared to the glock or xd and the non-dovetailed sights. Well it seems like taurus has read my mind.

The new 24/7 PRO is supposed to have a crisp single action pull. IF a round does not fire it reverts to double action. Cycle the slide and it is in single action again. It also finally has dovetailed sights. I am really eager for these to come out. I think I will started saving money to a 45 longslide.

Now if they would only take their 40 and rechamber it in 10mm. (15 rounds of 10mm I can only dream)
