Picked up a like new GP Sport model over the weekend at a good price. Hardly a mark on it. Still have to see how it shoots yet :)

Very Nice Morgo. I have the same model , manufactured in '09 I think, but with the US type rollmarks on the slide. I like the rollmarks on the version you have better. Also, mine came in the much smaller plastic box. Yours looks like the larger GP Competition size box. Looks brand new.

Thanx mate :)

The box is a little smaller than the GP Comp model :)

Thanx mate :)

Firearms in general cost more over here but I paid $700AU for it. The same model new is $1600AU here at present so not a bad deal :)

Well, MSRP for new is $1,000US and street price runs from between 800-1000 I'd say you got a good deal, even without prices/exchange rate.

Question: I thought us peons weren't allowed to own pistols in Australia?

We need to have a licence and be a member of a club/range. Other than that its not too hard.
There are somethings we can't have as far as pistols are concerned such as pocket pistols (barrels under 120mm for revolver & 120mm for semi auto), over .45 cal or mags greater than 10rds.

One of the finest pistols ever made, you can't do much better then a BHP. Yours is a great looking gun and I'm sure it'll be a great shooter.
Congrats.

Do you have to store them at your gun club or can you take them home? That is a really nice BHP!

Congrats.
