I have taken the current standard 3 finger Neoprene grip and sanded away the last finger groove, to make a 2 finger "Boot Grip". I have a large woodworking belt sander, and less than a minute of shaping makes a very nice profile. I simply follow the inside contour of the grip frame, leaving maybe 1/16" of material. I like the feel of the standard grip, but its simply too long. The top pic is what the finished grip looks like.
Dont forget that Charter sells a Boot grip. Its even a little smaller than my boot grip. Here is what it looks like, on the same gun. Its a nice grip, but exposes the backstrap. Make sure your grip frame, and main frame have a smooth junction. My Police Undercover didnt meet up very well, and the main frame is razor sharp right there.
