Was in a local gun store in central Virginia and tucked in the back of the used gun section was something that caught my eye. Scored a German Walther TPH 22 with box and (German) instructions and target. Blue steel and barrel had some lint inside so it was carried at some point but the finish is not worn. Interarms import mark, and guess that this is from mid 70's time frame. Traded a Ruger 22/22mag single action convertible even up and while not a steal think I did ok on the horse trading.

Congratulations on your new trade. I've been wanting one of those since I was ten, but have never found one at the right price.

Around here Tphs go for $650-700 if they are German and blue. Used Ruger single sixes go for around $300. You did quite well on your trade.

Great trade. I've had an Interarms stainless TPH copy I found at a gun show for $200 for many years and rounds, a hard to beat pocket pistol.

There is one hairpin shaped spring that tends to be too weak in the Interarms version, it's easy to make a stronger replacement from spring wire. It's been so long ago that I don't recall exact function, part of the DA system.

Congrats on the great find! I think you made an outstanding deal, trading a Ruger Single Six convertible for a Walther TPH .22.
