NFA Questions please help

Question 1)

I live in apartments, whats the procedure if I move to a different room, still the same appartment address just a different room #. Must I notify ATF of the room change and is there paperwork involved?

Question 2)

Should I decide to leave the State could I keep NFA item in storage in that same State and city though no longer a resident or would I have to make transfer before leaving?

#2 Contact ATF and follow their requirements... Make sure the state you're going to it is a legal item there.

Registrants are not required to obtain permission from ATF to move NFA firearms within their State of residence. However, if a registrant’s address changes after the NFA firearms are registered with ATF, please notify the NFA Branch in writing of the change so the NFRTR can reflect the registrant’s correct address.

If your NFA item is legal in the new state, you can file an Application to Transport Interstate prior to moving. Or you can store it in your old state, or transfer ownership to someone else.
