My NFA assets are held in a Gun Trust, I've moved to a new residence address within the same State (same city too).

Is there any requirement to advise the NFA branch of the change? If so, where would such advise be sent?

I have tried searching for an answer to this and have come up dry. Thanks.

You fill out a Form 5320. Under section 2 "Firearms to be returned to original Location" check "No". For an Intrastate move you do not need to wait for the papers to come back. Do it for all NFA firearms including Silencers and DDs that normally don't require a form 5320. Under 5 put something like "Trustee change of address".

Make sure you have a mail forward in the trust name and not just your name.

If your trust has an address (mine doesn't) amend that.

Mike
