Night Sights for Dan Wesson Valor Bobtail

Hey, everyone, I have a question.

I recently bought a Dan Wesson V-Bob. I love this pistol but the problem, for me, is that it came with tactical ledge sights. They're night sights and the tritium lights up fine, but the white dots during the day are so faint that I can't see them well enough to line them up (I've become far-sighted with age). I can see the white dots on my Sig 1911 Carry Nightmare just fine so I know that changing the sights on my DW would help but I checked at my LGS today and they said that Trijicon Bright & Tough Night Sights won't fit a V-Bob.

Does anyone have a suggestion for an alternative? I'd like to get night sights but they have to have a clearly visible white ring for daytime shooting.

It seems like I may have seen this post before. In any case, the same recommendation…

Put some bright sight paint or nail polish on the blade of the front sight.

I replied to your other post over there. Thanks for the idea, but it would prevent the tritium from showing at night, I think.
