Like Insurance
...
Yep, all my guns have them with the exception of the Colt Defender.
My night gun HD nightstand gun, my P229R CT 9mm also has Crimson Trace laser grips.
And I converted the Px4's supernova glow sights, which needed some kind of bright light to charge them up, lasted only 20 mins on a good night, so I put Trijicons on them for 135 bucks..
Considering that any real night sights glow 24/7, never need a charge, and last on-average 8yrs that, like insurance, one hates to pay for it, never use it for years and years but, the one time, or two, that you need the insurance, it pays to have it - that I believe.
So too is the assurance/insurance of having Night Sights if ever you're really in the dark, as mentioned, I can locate my nightstand gun every-time by seeing easily, the green glow of the rear sights.
Taking the 135 dollar investment over 8 yrs, sides heavily on the, it's more than affordable, ridiculous level.. lol
Get them if you can IMHO, as you never know when they will be the only thing you can see in the dark, along with knowing where the muzzle of your gun IS pointing.
