Hi,

Does anyone know what the sub tensions/reticle thickness of the Nikon Monarch 4-16x42 sf is?
I've heard that the reticle is a tad to thick, and as I was wanting to use the scope for target varmint work, a thick reticle might be a pain.

I currently have a Burris Fullfield 2 and want more magnification and an adjustable parallax.
Would the Nikon Reticle be finer that the Burris one?

I want mildot for the range calculating as I don't own a range finder.

Or if theres another scope thats equal or better than the Nikon for the same dollars ($450ish) then I'm all ears.

Cheers,
Sam

Nikon and Burris both list subtensions on their websites. Burris, Vortex, Sightron make scopes in that general range.

Thanks,
I never noticed that before, I had to search around a bit but found it eventually.
I assume all the sizes are given in MOA.
