I’ve been a Nikon fan for a long time since I feel their optics are some of the best available. I recently had a chance to test their warranty.
I had an early model 4-12X40 scope which had seen a lot of use as evidenced by the scratches and dings on it. The adjustable objective must have gotten tweaked a bit and the focus out past 200 yd wasn’t as crisp as it should have been.
I sent it to the Nikon factory for repair and asked them to send me an estimate of the repair cost.
Nine days later, I received a brand new 4-12X40 Monarch scope in the mail. The enclosed invoice said “warranty-no chargeâ€.
It doesn’t get any better than that.
:D

Wow

New scope, and improved line, no less, at no charge. True, it doesn't get any better! I have been very pleased with my Nikon products. I currently have:

Nikon Sky & Earth 15-45x60 spotting scope
Nikon 10x50 binoculars
Nikon Pro-staff 3-9x40 scope.

I thought all three were good values, particularly the Pro-Staff scope. I'll buy more with that kind of service!

Impressed...

I've always been "into" optics for my passion...hunting. Bino's and good, dependable 'scopes, that is a real "thing " with me. I either have, or still own Leupold, Burris, Ziess, Swaroski, Kahles, and now NIKON.

Lately I have had the chance to not only get a couple of more pieces of NIKO gear, but mount and sight in a couple of more, and I must say I'm very impressed. The new NIKON MONARCH GOLD series scopes are awesome.

Its good to hear that they back up there stuff too:cool:
