I want to make sure I got this right as well....

Utah does not require a course? Like FL?

Utah does require a course. I took a Utah/Oregon class and it was like 4 hours for Utah and the extra hour was for Oregon. It is just to learn laws, when you can pull your firearm and when you cant. It was just cool info. Then the intructor will give you certification and hopefully he gives you the paperwork as well. No live fire test required. I would just look online or maybe your local gunshop will have info on a Utah class that is soon.

I read thru the posts and I didn't see anyone mention that. I don't go thru SC at this time but I would like to be able to without disarming.

Utah does require a course, just not live fire. The course must be taught by a Utah certified instructor.
