I like going to major gun shows & buying the junk cans that they sell cheap. Because all it takes is a little sand blasting, painting & a gasket replaced then I have new looking cans to store my ammo in for way less.

How do we know they are non.Chinese? I figure Norma USA is not in the business of making ammo cans so where does Norma get them from? Nowhere do I see where the cans are manufactured. Sis I miss something?

If anyone can read the OP post, it clearly states free shipping on orders over $150. So yes shipping would be stupid to pay on one or two cans, duh.



This is a fantastic deal if one can either use 15 cans themselves or go in with a few people to get to 15 and free shipping.

Personally I figure at my age I will be dead before any of my ammo can gaskets needs replaced.

I picked up a few of these a few weeks ago. I have no idea how to tell if they are Chinese or not, but they look like they are pretty decent boxes. Gaskets appear decent.

I have 20 or 30 cans, mostly 70s and later, but some of them are old. Does anyone sell a gasket? I'm not planning to cut out a bunch of gaskets by hand.

Norma was owned up until mid 2022 by a Swiss defense contractor (RUAG), I doubt it's a Chinese made can. Beretta Holdings bought them and their on-line retail presence has been steadily shrinking. I think they are just cleaning out their warehouse.

Also, I bought 2K SS109 in cans from them about a year or so ago. The cans are as good as any surplus US cans I've ever seen.

And not just for ammo. I strap one to the snowmobile to keep my survival "possibles" dry. They also make great "saddle bags" for a dirt/trail bike. That of course takes a bit more fabrication, but looks great.
