Not Happy With Galls Customer Service

Galls isn't shooting gear or storage but they sell things that are.

On July 24 I ordered two pairs of uniform pants from Galls. They were advertised as being in stock and Galls claimed they normally ship within 24 hours.

It took ELEVEN DAYS for Galls to even ship them. I want to be absolutely clear that's not how long they took to get to my house, that's how long Galls took to get them in the mail.

When I went to Galls website to look at their reviews I noticed this seems to be a common complaint. Some of their customers stated they had waited MONTHS for Galls to ship.

When I contacted Galls to check on my order the CSR made it crystal clear that he couldn't care less about my dissatisfaction. I promised Galls (not that they care) that I would make sure as many people as I possibly could were made aware of my experience.

I will NEVER shop at Galls again.
 
A lot of places are having trouble meeting their advertised shipping times.

Twenty years ago, eleven days would have been about average. Now we expect to get everything in a few days with free shipping.

Go back and read what I posted. I very CLEARLY said that it didn't take me 11 days to get it. It took them 11 days just to get it out of the warehouse. It took 11 days for them to even get it into the mail. It's going to take me at least another week to get it

when i had ordered a few items from "The Glock Store", it took well over 3 weeks to ship my items.

it clearly stated that due to the covid 19, shipping times will be delayed. they were running with way less people than normal

here you go, from the Glock store right now, when i checked it
GLOCKSTORE IS ON TRACK TO FULLY REOPEN. WE ARE CATCHING UP, BUT ARE CURRENTLY SHIPPING IN STOCK ORDERS PLACED ON: date7-18.jpg

Is reading comprehension not a thing with you people? I very explicitly stated in the OP they claimed orders normally ship within TWENTY FOUR HOURS. no mention of Covid-19

We have a robust, diversified supply chain to ensure we can meet your needs. The majority of our supply chain originates from U.S. domestic suppliers and countries other than China in regions that have not been significantly affected by coronavirus. Regarding our Chinese suppliers, some Chinese factories delayed opening after Chinese New Year, but all are now running above 60-percent capacity. If customer demand suddenly increases, our ability to supply 100 percent of our products might temporarily decline. We may experience some product delays over the next couple of months, however we anticipate that our supply chain will be back to normal by July/August of this year.

As of today, all Galls branches and distribution centers are open. We expect that we will be allowed to remain open due to the essential service that we provide to the public safety community. Some stores will be operating on a modified schedule. Please see below.

Then you take the banner that says orders normally ship within 24 hours down.

You have to go looking to find that disclaimer.

One of the things I was looking for when I read Galls' responses to people's complaints with some reference to they were doing the best they could but they were short-staffed because of covid-19 and I didn't see any of that. What I saw was mostly "Well we're sorry we'll do better next time."

what more do you want for christ sakes?

they have it on the FAQ's page.

as long as somewhere on the website they mention problems due to the covid 19, like they did, and i posted it for you to READ, they are covered.

they are most likely over whelmed by customers rude remarks and complaints. they are HUMAN BEINGS TOO, and should be treated with the same respect, that we all like to be treated with.
 
I started this thread to share my experience with Galls.

I didn't start it to argue with internet lawyers.

Regardless of what Galls has hidden in the FAQ page, they advertise 24 hour shipping.

When I lodged a complaint they didn't even mention Covid. I read several other reviews outlining the same problem and in none of them did Galls reference Covid-19 in their response.

I also noticed shipping being an ongoing complaint in their Better Business Bureau reviews some going back a couple of years.

I won't be ordering anything else from Galls.

I also won't be responding to this thread any further
