Oakeshott Institute

I met Christopher back when I worked at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival, @'90 or '91. He had an Armory set up there and did demonstrations, mostly making chainmail and plate. We talked often. I even drew up plans for a sword for him to make, but didn't have the $$ to do it. I'm sure it'd be even more today, if he still even does commssion work. Very nice, and very knowledgable guy.

Never heard of the Oakeshott Institute before. Makes for an interesting historical read on arms and armor!

Thanks for the link!

This is really amazing, because I discovered them a few months ago from the Albion Arms web site. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that they were local to me!
